WINE & HISTORY
Visit our winery in the picturesque village of Šatov, home to unique 18th-century cellars originally used as a sand mine. The winery cultivates 1.7 hectares of vineyards and produces its own wine, with a limited edition of 4,000 bottles each year, available exclusively in our cellar, through our online
shop, or at our wine bar in Prague’s Na Poříčí. Our village sits at the intersection of two geological formations, a feature unique to Moravia’s wine regions. This is why we use only grapes grown in this exceptional terroir.
Sustainability
Looking ahead, our goal is to use only grapes from our own vineyards, which are managed following organic farming principles. We do this out of respect for the land and all the living organisms in our vineyards – it’s our most valuable asset. To protect the vineyards from diseases and pests, we use only natural enemies, predators and plant-based treatments, avoiding unnecessary chemicals.
Traditional methods
VIn the cellar, we handle the grapes with the same care, keeping interventions to a minimum wherever possible. Much of the wine’s character is formed in the vineyard, and our job in the cellar is not to spoil it. As a small, emerging winery, we don’t have any pneumatic presses, vinifiers or
controlled fermentation, but we believe our wines will still pleasantly surprise you. We pour our
heart and soul into every bottle.
